I have an internet pal, motherbelt, aka the Duchess of Duct Tape, from whom I occasionally swipe a catchword or phrase. For example, she will often post “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. ~ Inigo Montoya”. And another phrase she is known for in certain circles, is “The Money Quote”, which immediately popped to mind when I read the following:
It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence.
Now in it’s larger context:
And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?
Here is the entire article, at American Thinker.com, by Matt Patterson. Obama: The Affirmative Action President
Go read the whole article, then ponder for a moment the recent actions of members of the Congressional Black Caucus in light of Patterson’s article. Maxine Waters, saying the Tea Party can go straight to Hell. Frederica Wilson, the Mad Hatter, who called the Tea Party “the real enemy”, and lastly Andre Carson, who literally accused the Tea Party of being a lynch mob, wishing to hang black Americans from trees.
Connecting the dots, the liberal members of the CBC (and the complicit liberal media who condone their comments) are lashing out at the Tea Party because they, too, are as embarrassingly inept as Obama.
