Florida to Costa Rica is for Beginners!

Last night I met a lovely couple, Jeanne and Paul, who did the entire PanAmerican Highway trip several years ago…..from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in Patagonia!!  Here is an account of their trip….as well as their website.  This area of Costa Rica captured their attention as it did ours, as they now own a beautiful treehouse home here.

As I said earlier, if you’ve ever thought of doing the “big” road trip, no matter how big or small…..do it!  It’s an experience you’ll never forget.  Time to get off the couch.

I did a lot of flying/driving for my last company (still hate flying) but I never got a chance to enjoy the sites (fly/drive to one location set up network move on as fast as you can) I’ve been to so many places in the US and seen nothing at the same time. Maybe if I live long enough to see retirement I’ve always wanted to do the Route 66 deal. Man I envy you guys an gals.

  4. Hi Blonde Gator,

Saw your nice informative travelogue and blog – brought back memories of our border crossings on our roadtrip on the Pan American Highway from Alaska to Argentina.

    Safe travels.
